Answers to the questions people ask before a trip. If yours is missing, ask the organiser.
When does it start and how long is it?
The expedition departs on 5 July 2027 and lasts 7 days including travel: the first and last days are the river run between Tura and camp. Groups are 5 to 10 people.
Where do guests stay?
In camp 240 km by river from Tura, in shared tents for up to 4 people. Each tent has four camp beds, tables and boxes for gear, an autonomous heater and a USB and USB-C power block fed by the generator. Every guest gets a warm sleeping bag and a pillow. Next to the tents: a kitchen tent with a cook, a banya, a heated shower and a drying tent.
Do I need fishing experience?
No. Spinning and fly both work; the guide shows beginners the basics and picks spots for your level. It is best to bring your own tackle; the organiser sends a list.
How much does the expedition cost?
The 2027 expedition costs 300,000 RUB per person for 7 days. It includes the 240 km river transfer from Tura and back, accommodation, meals with a cook, banya, shower and boat trips. Flights to Krasnoyarsk and Tura, alcohol and tobacco are extra.
Do you guarantee a catch?
No. Fishing depends on water, weather and season. The team is responsible for the organisation: the meeting in Tura, the transfer, the camp, meals and days on the water.
Can I take fish home?
Taimen is strictly catch and release. For other species, fishing regulations and camp rules apply. The organiser will brief you on lenok, grayling, whitefish and pike before departure.
Is there a signal in camp?
The camp has satellite internet. It is switched on for 2 to 3 hours a day so you can reach your family and check messages. There may be no ordinary mobile coverage around the camp.
What if weather delays a flight?
This happens in the north. Plan a reserve day and buy changeable tickets.
How does payment work?
The price is 300,000 RUB per person. Payment terms are set out in the contract, which the organiser sends before you book.
What if I have to cancel?
Cancellation and transfer terms are set out in the contract. Check them with the organiser before paying.
What tackle should I bring?
It is best to bring your own: a spinning rod for lenok and grayling, a heavier rod, lures and barbless hooks. The organiser sends the exact list for the river and season.
How do I book?
Send a request on the site or message us in Telegram. The organiser will answer your questions, confirm whether there is a place and send the contract with payment and cancellation terms.
